For Sale: 1969 Volkswagen Bus in Salt Lake City, Utah for sale in Salt Lake City, UT

1 of 14
Vehicle Description For Sale is a 1969 VW Bus Type 2.
We believe to be the 3rd owners of this Bus and it comes with the original owner's manual from when it was purchased brand new.
We have owned and cared for the bus for the past 4 years.
It was purchased from a family who used it as their camping vehicle for about 35 years.
The bus was well maintained through previous ownership by the same mechanic.
In the past 4 years, we have replaced brakes, rebuilt the carburetors, replaced the battery, replaced the interior curtains, and taken it in for regular oil changes.
Overall, it starts right up and runs great! We have really enjoyed driving this thing around Salt Lake City! It always gets tons of looks around the city and is a guaranteed conversation starter.
The bus is a 4-speed manual.
It has a functional pop-up top with padding that could sleep 2.
The functional bench also folds down into a bed that could sleep 2.
There is a pop-up kitchen table and cooler/sink combo.
There are many other features that could make camping convenient! The bus has been kept in a garage/under a cover for the past 4 years and the cover will be included with the sale.
Our reason for selling is that we have a young one and we plan to buy another car.
We would not want to see this thing go to long term storage since we do not have room for both vehicles in our garage.
While it has been a fun vehicle to run around in, our priorities have changed and its time to send it to a another good home.
Thank you for checking it out and feel free to ask any questions you may have! Asking $25,000.
