Vehicle Description 1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra II The Ford Mustang II is the second generation of the Mustang line, which was in production from 1973 through to 1978.
Each year during this period, a new Ford Mustang II was in production.
In 1978, the King Cobra edition was new to the lineup, and was the final Mustang II model for this second generation.
The 1978 Ford Mustang II King Cobra was fairly limited in production with just over 4300 units produced.
As a result, there is some rarity to this car! The King Cobra II presented at auction received a major overhaul and was expertly built for running at the track.
