Small, charming 2 bed/1 bath house for rent, available June 3, 2024. (Renter is out by June 1) * Please do not disturb my renter, unless we have an appt for a walk thru (thank you). The property is a charming little house on small lot: 2 bed / 1 bath, with 1920 bungalow charm, (covered front porch, built-in living room shelves, original hardwood floors). Quiet urban neighborhood in the middle of everything. Central City/Liberty Wells neighborhood, walking distance to Liberty Park (2 walks away, a gem), Whole Foods (2 blocks away), 9th and 9th, and Trolley Square. Excellent proximity to University of Utah, Primary Children's Medical, and downtown. Very bikable and walkable neighborhood, or to the trax train (to the University, downtown, or Airport). 3 grocery stores within a mile. New paint, new water heater, new washer/dryer, new kitchen/bath laminate flooring, new grey carpet in Bedroom 2. Backyard garden boxes. On a quieter street, cared for home, 100 year old bungalow. Minimal front yard upkeep, but I ask you to keep it watered and weeded. Very small backyard setup for gardening and bbqing. One off-street parking spot. House layout has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath (about 900 sq ft upstairs): + Welcoming porch, glass front door, open living/dining room in front of house. Opens to connected living and dining rooms. These rooms have dimmers on the ceiling lights. + Jack and jill bed/bath layout, one shared bathroom (with tub/shower combo) between 2 bedrooms, each bedroom with their own bathroom door. (Guests do have to walk thru a bedroom to access the bathroom - fyi). + Kitchen accesses Bedroom 1, and walk thru laundry to access Bedroom 2 (back of house). + Bedroom 1 (smaller, in the middle of the house: fits a queen-sized bed against the wall, or can be a great office, with hardwood floors, and ceiling fan) and narrow, deep closet. Multiple walls of windows, private. + Washer/Dryer in unit: LG stackable washer/dryer (new in 2024), high efficiency + Kitchen: Gas stove, oak cabinets, dishwasher, and sink disposal. + Central Air / AC, on a Nest thermostat + Storage in basement and down (steep) stairs (about 400 sq ft storage space with cement floor, some dirt/shelf style bungalow basement), where utilities are. Basement is setup for storage area, with some provided shelves, but it's not a great living space. FYI- I have the basement sprayed for pests bi-yearly (which is part of living in an old neighborhood), but otherwise the house is clean and tidy. + Small, fenced small backyard, set up as a backyard hangout and setup for gardening, with drip-lined garden boxes (provide your own timer). + Bike and yard tool storage in backyard shed.
