Majestic Stiffel floor lamp in the Hollywood-Regency/neoclassical style, dating from the 1940's-50's, and made of solid and cast brass.This design is attributed to Tommi Parzinger, but I can't find a definitive description online so it's probably best described as 'in the style of'.The brass is in excellent condition for it's age, there are some very minor scratches in the top and base, but also a couple of larger blemishes on the base (see final picture). Some minor blemishes/finish loss on the pole.There is a switch in the pole that should turn the light on and off by moving the pole up and down, but this no-longer works. This seems to be a common issue with these lamps, but given that it's a ~75y.o. mechanical switch it is to be expected. However there is also a 3-way switch in the top cup that is for dimming the light, but will also function as an on-off switch. Alternatively a floor switch could be added.Height is 5ft, base is 11" diameter, top is 6.5" diameter.Text is preferred and cash only please
