Company Info Bridge Property Management BPM is an integrated property management affiliate of BIG providing on site property management to our owned and managed multifamily assets.
Our BPM professionals manage all aspects of our assets from construction and renovation to leasing and operations.
We pay attention to community social services and programs such as organized afterschool homework sessions selected adult education programs social events and sponsored sports leagues as well as to the environmental impact of our communities.
Position Info POSITION SUMMARY The GroundskeeperPorter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds amenities building exteriors parking lots and other community buildings to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
They will also assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Keep the property clean inspect the property each morning and pick up any trash that litters the grounds Prepare and maintain landscape daily mow lawns maintain flower beds rake leaves deice and shovel snow Clean pool and pool area as needed hose down area pick up trash and straighten chairs Assist with light maintenance duties as needed replace light bulbs in common areas and breezeways replace window screens replace air filters move appliances and painting Assist with apartment makereadies as requested remove trash from vacant units caulk check appliances and smoke detectors and replace parts Assure safety practices are used which comply with all company local city state and federal guidelines Follow Bridge policies and procedures and comply with Fair Housing state and federal laws Regular ontime attendance Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment and tools Basic understanding of electrical plumbing and carpentry a plus Follow oral and written instructions Ability to communicate with residents coworkers and management Ability to climb up to feet Color vision and the ability to hear SKILLS AND ABILITIES EDUCATION High school graduate or equivalent EXPERIENCE Up to year of prior groundskeeping experience WORK ENVIRONMENT Inside and outside in all weather conditions About the Benefits Bridge distinguishes itself by providing our employees with A competitive base salary.
