Staff Accountant
We are a rapidly growing TPA Third Party Administrator of Life Health and Annuity products.
Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of company reports and statements.
This position will report to the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities Participate in monthly general ledger closing procedures including account analysis and reconciliations reconciling sub ledger activity.
Process incoming premium payments and balancing the daily deposit.
Process check ACH payments that are returned.
Bank reconciliations.
Prepares other reports and assist in special projects and analysis as required or requested by management.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in accounting or role with years of relevant work experience Ability to adapt and be flexible to change priorities when needed Ability to effectively communicate with employees and managers at all levels Must be able to organizeprioritize existing resources and incorporate new information as needed to implement the most effective solutions.
Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know of decisionsactionsproblems.
