Program Support Assistant

Assist with all local site activities related to enrollment. Schedule and conduct participant visits, including structured interviews and health assessments. Prepare and maintain all program documentation related to enrollment. Independently handle most aspects of enrollment process. Manage implementation, control, and reporting on clinical tests. Discuss consent process, including overview of research program and its risks and benefits. Randomizing participants according to study protocol. Set up study records. Prepare statistical reports. Coordinate to provide recommendations or decisions for program strategies, modifications, budgeting, or improvements. Perform routine clinical tests. Other related duties as assigned. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Enrolling and obtaining consent; assembling information for reports; maintaining records and responding to communications and inquiries; organizing records; independently drafting correspondence; knowledge of research investigatory process; compilation of data; managing projects; utilizing standard clinical procedures. The work is primarily sedentary. Typically the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. There may be some walking, standing, bending, and carrying of light items such as focus group audio visual equipment, Xerox paper and books. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
