Jr. Graphic Designer / Sr. Coordinator

Brown and Caldwell is a national environmental engineering and consulting firm with a rich graphic design culture. We are looking to expand our talented design team with a full time Graphic Design Coordinator based in either our Salt Lake City, UT or Denver, CO.
We are seeking a self-motivated and creative professional with proven branding, technical layout and xx skills. The coordinator works closely with Graphic Designers, Senior Graphic Designers, and Design Leads/Supervisors/Managers to execute design and coordinate with the marketing sales teams. Job Expectations:
Applies knowledge of process and branding to successfully complete pursuit/project deliverable tasks.
Serves as a BC Brand champion (Know it. Implement it. Build it). Advances understanding of BC visual brand and templates/template styles by applying them in pursuits and marketing collateral.
Supports document layout, design and revisions for pursuits and deliverables. Reviews final layouts and suggests improvements, as needed.
Supports slide formatting, interview graphics, animation and revisions for interviews and presentations.
Supports creation of graphics ranging from cover design, brochures, maps, and informational graphics to basic process diagrams, charts and persuasive graphics that simply convey key information, while achieving company brand standards (including billable work as needed).
Prepares and communicates instruction for final assembly and preparation of layout for printing.
Strives for zero tolerance of errors when editing/proofing/spell checking. Schedule time for a senior design review when applicable.
Attends team workload meetings and communicate project status and availability to graphic design project leads and supervisors.
Seeks input, identify development opportunities, explore resources, processes and guidelines.
Asks questions when uncertainty arises.
Develops reputation for consistently-high customer service.
Adheres to expectations for LOE on all efforts.
Maintains archive of assets, including images, photos and previous work products. Upload to Company Store or Creative Services Workgroup Binder as appropriate.
Follows Creative Services standard practices, including standard file structure and WorkSmart Binders; KACE ticket requests; sharing best products, knowledge and expertise through the Creative Services Workgroup.
Communicates closely with clients on schedule, revisions, and graphic needs through project completion.

BA/BS in graphic design, related field, or equivalent work experience
Highly Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Experience in Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience in Microsoft Word a plus
