The inContact HR Generalist is a flexible role that supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource team. The role assists in creating and sustaining an employee-oriented high-performance culture, emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, goal attainment and the ongoing development of a superior workforce. The HR Generalist assists or may have primary accountability for processes such as recruiting, onboarding, data entry, HR reporting, department communications and various other administrative and client-facing tasks, as assigned.
As an HR Generalist, a Typical Day Might Include the Following:
This is a flexible role on the HR team and may be asked to perform a combination of the following
Responsibilities:
HR OPERATIONS
HRIS Platform(s) administrator. Enter and ensure ongoing accuracy of employee data in inContact's HRIS as part of employee onboarding and terminations and as employee changes (e.g., transfers, manager changes, compensation adjustments, promotions, etc.) are submitted and approved. Coordinate with IT and other departments to optimize, redesign, or create new system architecture / design to ensure a positive employee experience.
Use the HRIS system to track stock grants, payroll, job titles, work history, benefits, contacts, etc.
Collect, organize and enter payroll information in preparation of payroll processing.
Manage communication with internal stakeholders (e.g., payroll, IT, etc.) for new hires, terminations and other employee changes/moves.
Complete employment verifications and respond to unemployment requests.
Process owner for mobile device policy and Travel & Expense policy. Review other HR policies as assigned and make recommendations to improve and keep current with market trends.
Assist Manager Employee Services in carrying out various programs, processes and procedures.
Facilitate New Hire Orientation training (HR Benefits module)
Primary HR point of contact responsible to resolve basic HR escalations / employee questions about topics like benefits, payroll, policy interpretation, etc.
OTHER
Assist in recruiting activities, as needed, including candidate offer quality checks, background checks, sourcing and other activities.
Partner with Total Rewards leader to create/update regional compensation structure and to communicate Total Rewards news and changes to local sites.
Act as general back-up to NHO facilitator.
To Land This Gig You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or similar field or equivalent work experience required.
4
years of experience office and or business management supporting Human Resources function.
Experience managing HR processes, employee records and working with Oracle HR information system or other HRIS system
Experience working with third party vendors (e.g. Benefits, HRIS providers, etc.)
Experience working with all levels of the organization from employees through leaders
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
Excellent verbal/written communication; demonstrated interpersonal, team collaboration and organizational skills
Proficient in primary MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Participate in projects as assigned as well as good will events
Bonus
Experience:
Experience in all phases of HR including benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, operations etc.
Familiarity with local/regional employment laws and practices.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
