Quartzdyne designs and manufactures the industry-standard quartz pressure transducer for the downhole oil and gas industry. Quartzdyne also manufactures hybrid electronics and memory tool products for high-reliability and high-temperature applications. Our transducers and hybrid electronics are widely integrated into downhole tools and monitoring systems
Job Description:
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all Quartzdyne product features, functions, and value propositions.
Develop and grow long-term relationships with customers.
Development and delivery of technical presentations.
Respond to functional and technical elements of RFI/RFP/RFQ's.
Provide pre and post sales technical assistance and product education.
Field visits with customers. Be able to engage the entire organization: engineering, purchasing, sales, marketing, and management in creating value for customers.
Manage and interpret customer requirements.
Provide voice of the customer data during the design of custom-made products.
Research and understand our customer markets.
Review and approve quotes and orders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical sales
Strong skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required
Ability to identify and resolve customer and vendor problems
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers , customers and vendors both verbally and in writing
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Strong desire to learn and be a problem solver, striving to determine the root cause of issues. Formal training in LEAN, or Six Sigma a plus.
Friendly and enthusiastic personality.
Some travel (both domestic and international) may be required.
Experience reading and interpreting CAD drawings.
Experience with mechanical and electrical designs and assemblies.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
3-5 years' experience in technical sales required
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Normal working conditions absent extreme factors
Must be able to see well enough to read reports, send emails, etc.
Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and vendors
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs periodically
