Import Coordinator/Category Manager

Job Description
We are a fast-paced wholesale furniture company based in Salt Lake City. We are looking for individuals with import and international logistics experience. This position will be working with international suppliers and freight brokers to coordinate purchasing, logistics, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
- Inventory analysis and forecasting.
- Create, follow, and track purchase orders with international suppliers.
- Coordinate and track containers with factories and freight brokers.
- Handle required customs documentation.
- Facilitate inventory transfers between warehouses to maintain operational levels.
- Organize and implement new items into various software systems, including assigning SKU, writing product descriptions, and set pricing.
- Manage product database.
- Maintain inventory management database.
Qualifications
Candidate must be a self-starter and able to work quickly while remaining organized. Candidates for this position are able to pick up skills quickly, are problem solvers, able to self-manage and set a productive work pace, meet deadlines, prioritize, and follow-through.
We are seeking employees who are hard working, highly organized, energetic, and efficient. Applicants must have great computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and be willing to learn additional software tools as required. We need people who are quick learners, have a positive attitude and can thrive in a small business/team environment. Alder & Tweed Furniture is looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to step into this role and grow with the company.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
