Responsibilities
As an Agent, you will solicit new prospects, sell our products and services, and assist existing clients as necessary. You will also network within your community attending networking events, sales conferences, and trade shows to market your business and target your preferred audience.
Additional responsibilities of the Insurance Sales Agent include :
-Providing excellent customer service to policyholders
-Educating customers on their plan options
-Creating your own daily schedule
-Obtaining pertinent licenses and keeping them current
-Staying abreast of evolving industry and product changes
-Making staff hiring and firing decisions

Qualifications
Bachelor degree preferred but not required
Customer Service oriented
Entrepreneurial spirit
Self-motivated
Self-disciplined
Able to pass Property & Casualty and Life & Health exams at 70% or above
Able to invest $250/month for lead generation
Able to work 45-50 hours/week while building your business
$5K in seasoned funds for Traditional entry or $25K in seasoned funds for Acquisition
Background Check required no bankruptcy 1 year or newer, no outstanding collections and no convictionsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
