Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Underwriting life insurance policies
- Inbound & outbound calls from the sales force
- Provide excellent customer service on phone and thru email
- Other special projects as assigned
Responsibilities
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in the life insurance underwriting field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
- Type 50
wpm
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 4:45 pm

We are currently looking to fill a full time underwriting position in our underwriting department. This is a position that requires experience in the underwriting field, starting wage will be based off experience with a Monday - Friday business hours schedule. There are also benefits available (health insurance, life insurance, vacation, sick and holiday pay).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
