Job Description
Associated Food Stores is searching for a highly organized, detail-driven, media specialist to lead the media coordination efforts for a large group of local grocers in eight western states. The successful candidate will support retailers in maximizing media planning, execution and budgets on a variety of platforms including digital, print, radio, television and in-store media. The media specialist provides a high level of service to Associated Food Stores retailers by acting as the liaison between partner media agencies and retailers to ensure timely, accurate and effective media placement on a daily basis. Candidates with a solid understanding of digital media are preferred.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include working closely with brand managers, identifying target audiences and determining how best to reach them through a variety of possible media. Duties also include trafficking developed media assets, tracking budgets and monitoring and reporting campaign effectiveness. Effectively collaborating with company leadership, brand managers, graphic designers, media companies and store teams to communicate essential brand messages is a must. Managing timelines for multiple campaigns, providing insightful recommendations and demonstrating impeccable follow-through will be a major emphasis. Qualifications

One to three years of relevant experience with media development, account management and media buying is preferred.
A Bachelor s degree in marketing, journalism or related communications field is desired.Command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other database software is essential. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
