Sales Development Representative

Job Description
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a motivated self-starter who is hungry and craves a challenge. His/her main focus and motivation is identifying, developing and creating new business opportunities for field salespeople in specific territories of North America. The SDR works with demand generation to uncover and create new opportunities that will result in closed business. This role involves researching companies and contacts, inbound and outbound campaigns, and qualifying each opportunity before sending to an Account Executive. The SDR recommends and adapts to changes and has excellent time management and interpersonal skills. This is an entry-level position and is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Responsibilities
- Daily outbound prospecting activities into target and assigned accounts
- Responding to all qualified inbound leads
- Collaborate with designated sales rep(s) to identify key accounts to call and cultivate relationships
- Work closely with the sales team to accelerate sales cycle and to extend reach into target accounts
- Track and document prospecting activities, new contact names, and opportunity qualification notes in Salesforce.com
- Research and profile accounts. This included mapping the company's organizational structure, identifying new contacts and key business issues
- Recruit for local and national events created by marketing
- Represent RizePoint at tradeshows and other industry events
- Recommending process enhancements for more targeted demand generation efforts and improved selling techniques
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in lead generation / sales development or sales position
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system
- Team player, with strong self-starter attitude
- High-caliber phone and listening skills. You must be engaging, compelling and articulate over the phone, and professional in email communications
- Ability to patiently and persistently build/nurture prospect relationships to cultivate latent demand
- Ability to handle objections and educate prospects in a consultative manner
- Confident, positive, energetic, professional and team-oriented attitude
- Superior interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
