We currently own and operate 14 radio stations in Seattle, Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City, along with the NBC Affiliate TV station, KSL TV 5, in Salt Lake. Position: KSL NewsRadio is looking for a reporter to generate recorded news stories for airing the next morning. The reporter will respond to breaking news by interrupting programming with live reports. They will also monitor station automation and respond as needed to maintain smooth operation.

Anchor multiple newscasts and monitor station automation
Remain in communication with TV assignment desk and radio news department
Working knowledge of KSL digital board operation and computer systems
Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and personal matters
Work in compliance with Company policies and procedures
Work effectively in team environment
Qualifications
Requirements:
Two (2) years post high school education in communication, journalism, related field or equivalent
One (1) year commercial broadcast journalism experience or equivalent
Willing to accept responsibility and work under moderate supervision while resolving varied problems
Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and assure that shift personnel receive material for broadcast on time
Flexible to perform unscheduled assignments
Proven ability to handle stress
Physical Demands:
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
