Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a full time, enthusiastic, dedicated, organized, and resourceful Events Coordinator. The Events Coordinator will assist with the creation of and implementation of all Valley wide events.

5965 South 900 East, Murray, UT 84121
Schedule:
40 hours M-F; some nights and weekends required
Compensation:
Based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities
This position will assist in the creation of strategies to maximize fundraising as well as the scheduling, coordination, implementation, management and delivery of engaging and dynamic events.
Qualifications
-A strong interpersonal and communication skill set
A demonstrated ability to work effectively with and gain the respect and support of varied and changing constituencies
The ability to plan, set goals and objectives, organize, and follow through
Organizational, project planning and leadership skills
Ability to navigate social media proficiently
Computer literate:
Knowledge of Word and Excel and ability to learn database software
1 to 3 years experience in special events, fundraising, marketing/social media
Forward thinking
Pro-active team player
Bachelor s degree preferred
Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
Fun, personable, resilient, flexible, willing to step in when neededEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
