Job Description
Security National Financial Corporation is currently looking for a software QA person to join our IT team.
Tests software applications, including the execution of tests according to testing plans, identifies and documents differences between test results and expectations, and works with development team members to understand and resolve software defects and bugs. Work with developers on reproducing bugs found in testing area, and ensuring code is ready for user testing.
Work with software users to test new code, plan different ways to help users test the application and document the testing plan. Help users test features that they requested, and have been developed.
Writes and maintains test automation, unit tests and maintain a library of unit tests for major projects. Build tests for newly developed applications, as well as legacy software that is in production.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of programming practices and methodologies, object oriented design and architecture.
Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and practices.
Work with minimal supervision. Able to start and complete testing projects independently.
Works well with many different personalities.
Misc:
Some programming experience a plus
SQL or basic database skills a plus
Applications are written in C#, MVC and Javascript.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
