By Light is seeking a Front End Developer to join our team supporting a Government customer. This position would ideally be seated in Salt Lake City, UT but can also be in Chantilly, VA or a remote work opportunity.
Minimum 5-8 years experience developing websites and/or web applications (required)
Experience with HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript front ends (required)
Experience with web portals such as Drupal, Wordpress, etc (very helpful)
Experience with Mobile, Responsive Design, Media Queries, HTML5 (required)
Experience with 2 or more JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, JQuery, extJS, etc)
Bootstrap/JQuery plug-in development (Good to Have)
Excellent debugging skills with in-browser tools such as Firebug or Chrome Developer Tools (required)
Experience with Style Sheet languages and extensions like LESS and SASS (Required)
Ability to consume JSON data streams from a front end application (required)
Thorough understanding of AJAX and AJAX technologies
Experience with Liferay Portal (preferred)
Ability to work with software developers (required)
Strong JavaScript skills (required)
Experience flowing content into templates
Experience deploying cross-browser UI's (required)
Creative and Artistic perspective (preferred)
Ability to take advice from UX and Human Factors consultants to improve UI presentations
Ability to resize, convert, improve images from any format to any format (required)
Experience with audio and video formats and web streaming technologies and embedded widgets (preferred)
Strong interpersonal presentation and communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
