Position Overview:


L3Harris - Broadband Communications is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Scientist of International Systems Engineering to lead our team in designing and implementing cutting-edge defense systems for international clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guiding complex engineering projects, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance in our systems engineering efforts for our international programs. This includes but is not limited to architecture development, export, customer briefings, proposal writing, and customer requirements management. This will include technical documentation, technical project management, design oversight, prototype and production build and test support, integration, verification and qualification, system deployment support and in-house technical support during the operational life cycle of the system. The position may also require international travel.



Essential
Responsibilities:


  • Systems engineering technical lead for the international systems engineering group
  • Provides technical oversight and expertise to our Export team
  • Leads / reviews requirements analysis, requirements decomposition and assignment of requirements to appropriate functional areas of responsibility, and manages traceability of requirements back to customer specifications and system level derived requirements
  • Leads / reviews design synthesis and generation of supporting design documentation which includes technical specifications, interface control documents, test plans and procedures, and test conformance to specifications through verification cross reference matrix (VCRM)
  • Ensures technical performance, quality, and adherence to established policies and processes
  • Develops and presents project/program design reviews for both internal and external customer audiences
  • Leads or assists in project/program schedule and budget planning, subcontract control, risk management
  • Leads or assists in management over systems engineering team and other teams of functional design engineers
  • Participates in responses to customer request for information (RFI), request for proposal (RFP) and new business development pursuits, including on-site and off-site technical interchange meetings and technical capability demonstrations


Required (Basic)
Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.


Preferred
Qualifications:


  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and formal presentation skills are required
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to guide the technical direction/vision for a given project. Must also be a strong contributor to integrated product teams internal and external to the company
  • Active Secret or Top-Secret US DoD clearance is strongly preferred
  • An understanding of wireless communication theory, with a working knowledge of digital design, RF design, mechanical design, network design, or software design of digital line-of-sight and satellite communication systems
  • Experience with US government export laws and regulations
  • Experience and/or working knowledge in Digital Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Experience with software programmable architectures
  • Experience in risk management, project planning, and technical project management
  • Experience managing projects that include system integration, system verification, and formal qualification, including supporting integration and qualification events at customer locations
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Experience in requirements management and documentation
  • Experience in product development (preferably in military application environments)
  • Experience in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, DOORs or similar tools



Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
