JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challengesJOB SUMMARY -ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES A CM Specialist performs work that is varied and complex in nature in one or more specialty area of CM or engineering dataEmployee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
o Review engineering change requests / notices (ensure change management process is followed) o Maintain systems baselines and ensure system description documents are updated o Design, develop, and establish CM documentation based on program requirements o Participate in design reviews, audits, scheduling, budgeting, and related activities o Review task documentation to ensure configuration documents are properly identified and updated o Chair the local Annex configuration control board (CCB) and is the liaison with the administrator of the government CCB o Ensure configuration management of both hardware and software configuration items o Identify requirements and coordinate development and implementation of computer-based configuration, data management systems, and electronic data support o Identify CM tools requirements and implement CM systems o Prepare and approve CM plans o May provide work direction to subordinate work unit personnel o Perform other job-related duties, as required REQUIREMENTS -- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE A bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field, or a combination of formal training and three years of directly related CM experience are required for this positionIn addition, a CM Specialist must possess the following
