Remote and Once a week ( Vienna, VA ) To take an advanced approach with research and discovery across the analytics landscape, developing a deeper appreciation of our members' Open Banking needs while streamlining our response to their needs based on analytics and measurable resultsWorks independently with limited guidance within team on complex business and technical analysisWorks cross-functionally to conduct research on new features, defines product requirements using Agile processes, performs deep analysis to uncover new and refined product opportunities, formulates innovative solutions that deliver value, and creates exceptional Open Banking experiences for membersThis role will support Open Banking Data Access Channel that is used by Third Party Data Aggregators to securely share member's financial datao This role will work directly with the project's business and technical Agile teams to support the development of the product APIs including refining user stories, backlog prioritization, and bug fixes/trackingo This role will support onboarding, migration, and operational support for multiple approved third parties as they adopt thousands of fintechs to the platformo This role will support the member experience for members migrating from screen scraping to the Open Banking API's through the consent management platformo This role will create and manage complex business, technical, and operational analysis and supporting documentationAnalyzes internal and external insights, data, and marketplace trends to focus on creating value for members o Research, identify and analyze the needs and experiences of our members, who are the purchasers and users of our financial products o Perform advanced market analysis across the financial landscape including emerging trends in member needs to identify challenges and opportunities o Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and business units across the organization o Engages regularly in product team decision making, being able to push back and propose initiatives based in data o Package strategic and analytical insights into clear, concise and executive-ready presentations o Serve as an agent of change for the open banking product team, looking for new ways to solve problems for members and collaborate as a team o Produce data-driven analysis using enterprise tools to substantiate hypotheses o Assist with integrating usability studies, user research, and market analysis into product requirements o Analyze product usage and other empirical data and how that relates to key member needs to make recommendations regarding product prioritization o As a member of the cross functional team, apply Agile principles to improve the product and product team continuously incrementally o Advanced analytical and research skills along with experience working with data in a highly analytic environment o Working knowledge of analytics, user experience design and business impact o Experience analyzing user experienceand cost, to size impact and opportunities o Familiar with Agile methodologies/principles (Scrum, XP, Lean etc.
) o Exposure to working in an agile environment o Continuous learning with respect to current trends, practices, regulations, and technology in the financial services industry Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Strategy or related field o Background in Information Technology or Information Security o Experience supporting financial products in a financial institution o Experience supporting API applications and related connectivity o Operational experience supporting a data sharing application with external parties o Knowledge of Dodd-Frank Section 1033 relating to data sharing o Working knowledge of credit union operations/processes and procedures a plus o Previous experience with Financial Data Exchange a plus o Working knowledge of Open Banking in a Data Provider environment highly desired Director - Talent Acquisition Recommended Skills Api Agile Methodology Data Analysis Decision Making Finance Financial Institution Apply to this job.
