We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our team as the Director of Product Management. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and incubating new products, leveraging AI knowledge, and exploring innovative ways to advance our product portfolio. The ideal candidate possesses a strong product mindset and is capable of taking a product from incubation to market realization. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives on tackling challenges and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Product Development and Incubation:
Lead the development of new products, leveraging AI technology and expertise. Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from incubation to market release. Drive the exploration of up to 6 incubation products annually, ensuring successful execution as an individual contributor (player coach). Customer Engagement and Market Exploration:
Overcome the challenge of finding new customers in unexplored markets, particularly in sectors such as healthcare. Validate problem-solution hypotheses through early engagement with potential customers, pilot programs, and iterative testing. Demonstrate a self-starting approach to running the business in new market spaces. Strategic Leadership with Player Coach Mentality:
Be strategic in directing product development while maintaining a hands-on, player-coach approach. Contribute to marketing efforts and recognize the value of marketing aspects in product success. Demonstrate the ability to transition from a hands-on role to a more strategic leadership position in the future. Cross-Sector Experience and Pragmatic Marketing Discipline:
Possess experience in general language services provider, healthcare, and potentially other sectors like communication tools. Apply pragmatic marketing discipline to facilitate 0-1 incubation for new products. Startup Experience and Corporate Background:
Share real-world experience in successfully taking a startup from 0-1, demonstrating the ability to build and present weekly activities to stakeholders for a viable and profitable product. Navigate corporate politics effectively, leveraging a background that combines startup agility with corporate understanding. Metrics, Management, and Engineering Background:
Manage metrics for B2B and potentially B2C products, aiming for a 10-million-dollar impact. Engage in both management and individual contribution roles, with a long-term potential for strategic leadership. Possess an engineering background to facilitate effective communication with technical teams.
Qualifications:
SaaS company experience is highly beneficial. Strong understanding of market research and customer base identification. Proven ability to navigate a corporate environment and deliver results.
