LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5) with Security Clearance

Duties Major Duties:
This is not an all-inclusive list As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5), GS-0346-7/9, you will:
o Serves as a consultant and authority to the Logistics Chief.o Reviews all mobility, contingency, Emergency War and exercise plans affecting logistics and evaluates requirements in relation to capabilities and tasking.o Performs studies, provides analyses, and makes recommendations.o Reviews the logistics division portion of classified plans for full compliance with security regulations and policies to ensure that security compromise does not exists.o Develops and maintains the logistics portion of base mobility plans and other plans and submits plans to base logistics specialist.o Meets with the logistics chief, staff members, and supervisors to inform of requirements, tasks and changes as they occur, and advises personnel of their responsibilities.o Controls and monitors all mobility training to ensure that tasked personnel receive appropriate training such as load planning, palletizing, cargo courier responsibilities, hazardous cargo preparation, etc.o Formulates the annual logistics operating budget and DLR O&M budget for the logistics division for inclusion in the base financial plan.o Reviews, edits, and consolidates the logistics operating budget and DLR O&M budget estimates for the logistics organization.o Evaluates trends and operating costs which are used to project future commitments and obligations.o Prepares, justifies, and submits unfunded and unprogrammed requirements through the logistics chief to the Financial Management Board.o Controls the workday accounting program for logistics and tracks usage and requirements for the fiscal year.o Controls and monitors logistics manning authorizations and personnel assignments for civilian and military personnel.o Advises the logistics division chief when manpower authorizations appear unbalanced based on analytical and statistical studies.o Monitors the logistics security program to include tracking the issuance of security clearances, establishment of special security clearances, and establishment of special security.o Controls the facilities management program in the logistics division.o Serves as liaison to civil engineering regarding facilities logistics, repair and renovation.o Reviews logistics mobility equipment lists and personnel rosters.o Controls, and coordinates palletizing, packaging and marking of mobility equipment and supplies for adherence to regulations.o Perform other duties as assignedRequirements Conditions of Employmento Must be a US Citizen.o Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.o May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.o Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.o Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.o This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program.o This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.o Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.o May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required.o The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environmentYou are responsible to maintain awareness of your environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, your organization, and its changing mission.o This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for, or in response to, a state emergency or disaster declarationThis designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.o This position is eligible to be in the unionQualifications Your resume must reflect in detail how the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer meets the below listed general and specialized experience required for the position Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vsfull time creditGENERAL EXPERIENCE :
Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics fieldExperience using computer and automation systemsSpecialized Experience GS-07:
Have at least 12 months experience involving knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical supportExperience integrating actions of support activities to meet program goalsExperience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks and comply with regulations, laws or practicesSpecialized Experience GS-09:
Have at least 1 year experience at the GS-0346-07 level? - OR - Have at least 24 months experience involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities)Experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goalsExperience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practicesExperience planning and organizing work assignmentsOr education, see belowEducation Substitute for specialized experience - Have master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.Bor J.D., if related You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claimsTo receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
