Our retail store offers an array of artisan breads, deli loaves, sourdough, buns, rolls, and more! Role Description:
The Bakery Retail Store Front Associate will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, cashiering, answering phones, taking, and entering orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in our retail store.
The associate will also be responsible for the retail store set-up each morning and take-down after closing, in addition to other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a friendly, helpful, nice approach Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple customers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality results Reliable and responsible to work regular scheduled shifts Ability to work in a team as well as individually Multi-lingual (English-Spanish) a plus Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
Behavioral Characteristics and Expectations Interacts with others in a positive manner.
Under all circumstances maintains professional composure in dealing with customers and fellow employees Consistently represent work unit and department in a positive manner Assists others when needed Arrives at work on time and whenever scheduled (unless there is an illness or other emergency) to ensure that the rest of the staff is not put in a hardship situation Regularly keeps supervisor informed of progress, issues, and potential problems Delivers work as promised Shows consistent flexibility in adjusting to system, procedural, cultural, managerial, and philosophical changes in the work unit.
