Join our team and help us shape the future of mobility!Passenger Information Systems EngineerYour tasksAs a Passenger Information Systems Engineer, you will be a viable member of a team focused on various passenger information, communication and software engineering activities in all project phases from the concept/design through to the commissioning, validation and warranty phase.
Key Activitieso System integration of communication and information systems in Stadler vehicles taking into account the requirements of the customer, standard and lawo Preparation of engineering / production documents such as technical specifications, electrical diagrams and system drawingso Support of Stadler production, commissioning and type testso Responsible for the control of specification-conform implementation on the part of the system supplier with regard to hardware, software and ordered serviceso Supervision and participation in software tests of the suppliers as well as ensuring the delivery in accordance with contract and scheduleo Collaboration with customers, suppliers and approval bodies in an international environmento Technical addition to the specialist group in the areas of software architecture, communication technology, industrial electronics development or testingo Further development of project-independent and market-driven solution modules in in cooperation with the electrical engineering, design and product managementInterdisciplinary coordination with other departments such as electrical and software engineering, installation planning, purchasing, fire protection or approvalYour profileQualificationso Completed university degree in electrical, software engineering or information technology or comparable experience-based knowledgeo Experience in project management is advantageouso 3-6 years of experience in the field of networked communication systems in the transport sector or in the development of industrial electronicso High technical affinity and interest to deal with different technologies and IT systemso Very good communicator to people with different technical backgrounds, inside and outside the company, on all levelso Strong team spirito Able to be flexible with travel and work hoursOur offerStadler US employee benefits package includes:
