WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHERThe Director of the Philanthropy Operations & Performance Center of Excellence (COE) serves as a member of the Philanthropy Operations & Performance Team within Global Development.
This team is responsible for aligning philanthropy operations support and creating and implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency for TNCs philanthropy teams.
Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy Operations & Performance, this new role will be responsible for leading and carrying out the vision of the Philanthropy Operations & Performance COE.
The Director of the Philanthropy Operations & Performance COE will lead the COE in providing philanthropy operations solutions, support, and best practices for TNCs philanthropy teams, including but not limited to philanthropy systems, prospect management, and pipeline development.
Under their direction, the COE will inspire innovation and leverage technology, agile project management, and user-centered approaches to pilot new initiatives and rapidly address operational inefficiencies experienced by philanthropy colleagues.
The Director will work collaboratively with colleagues across Global Development and TNC to identify key philanthropy operations challenges, synthesize plans of action, and deliver targeted outcomes, leveraging data to measure success and adaptively manage their approach.
They will facilitate strategic dialogues with philanthropy staff and senior-level stakeholders across TNC, probing to identify needs, negotiating, prioritizing, and developing solutions, and synthesizing a plan of action tailored to the specific audience.
They will provide consultation and guidance and oversee any documentation and training related to the COE.
The Director may also be responsible for presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE:
Manage the Philanthropy Operations & Performance COE team, including recruitment, retention, professional development, establishing clear directions, and setting stretch objectives.
Drive strategic alignment within the Philanthropy Operations & Performance COE and across TNC, facilitating an integrated approach across all aspects of the teams work and alignment with the work of other departments, Divisions, and Business Units.
Design and direct complex and diversified projects, coordinating the work of other professionals, managing budget, and ensurin program accountability, including but not limited to piloting new operations support models.
Manage and implement strategic programs and initiatives with broad impact by collaborating with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to enhance overall performance in accordance with short and long-term objectives.
Direct or participate in negotiations for complex, high-profile, or sensitive agreements.
Ensure that programmatic commitments, TNC policies and procedures, and financial standards are met and managed for ethical compliance.
Maintain confidentiality of frequently sensitive and emotionally charged information.

WHAT YOULL BRING Bachelors degree and 8 years related experience, including experience working at a senior level.
Experience in conceiving, developing, and managing multiple projects and strategic goals.
Experience in planning and delivering budgetary responsibilities.
Experience managing and supervising a multidisciplinary team.
Experience working in large, complex organizations.
Experience, coursework, or other training in principles, practices, and procedures related to managing operations in complex organizations.

SALARY INFORMATIONThe starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $124,050 - $192,200 or hourly rate> for annual base salary.
This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA.
Where a successful candidates actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidates location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges.
