Salt Lake City ResponsibilitiesRole will require 1 weekend day every week.
Weekend days are onsite.
Possible Schedules are Tuesday - Saturday100% onsite role 5 days in office per week in Salt Lake City.
As a Linux Administrator, you will be the Tier 1 / Tier 2 support of the Business systems in a 24x7 follow-the-sun model.
This will entail alert management, OS troubleshooting, and working to restore service in a robust Enterprise Environment.
Monitoring of Linux/Unix systemsTroubleshooting of systemsAlert ManagementIncident ManagementWorking with clients across our Business Units to maintain and restore serviceAutomation of activities through scripting and configuration managementWorking with Hardware teams to maintain the physical server estateDocumentation of processes and procedures for the teamSkills:

Experience in Red Hat Linux Administration3
years of Unix/Linux systems administration experienceStrong core OS troubleshooting experienceScripting experience in Shell, Bash, Perl and/or PythonVirtualization experience in VMwareNetworking knowledge/skillsExperience installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-grade server hardware such as Client and Dell rackmount serversExperience using remote management interfaces like Dell iDRAC, Client iLO, VMware vCenter/vSphereAn automation-first mindsetIncident management experiencePrior experience in the Financial Service Industry is a plusPrior Enterprise experience is a plusRelevant certifications are a strong plus Recommended Skills Administration Automation Bash (Scripting Language) Business Systems Computer Architectures Configuration Management Apply to this job.
