If that sounds like you, we would love to have you as a part of our team! We are looking for a Receiving Clerk to be responsible for the accurate and timely receipt of all products and materials, including timely documentation of damaged goods and/or shortages or overages.
This position interacts with individuals throughout the company to resolve any matters regarding the receipt of materials.
Other duties may include conducting cycle counts and operating forklifts.
This is a labor-intensive position that requires heavy lifting; individuals are regularly on their feet throughout the day, and may work at heights as required.

Communicate any receiving variances to Operations management in a timely manner.
Engage in safe work practices and adhere to OrePac's established safety program and policies at all times.
Unload deliveries from vendor and third-party carriers according to the prescribed standard work and company policies.
Responsible for signing the bill of lading and acknowledging receipt of material; must document any immediate visible damages and count discrepancies.
Accurately input items received into the computer system according to the purchase order, transfer, or RMA (Return Material Authorization).
Communicate discrepancies to immediate supervisor or appropriate individuals, which may include accounts payable, supply chain, or the vendor.
Put away material received in an accurate and timely fashion into the designated areas within the warehouse.
Check the dating of existing material for proper stock rotation.
Provide timely responses to inquiries from other individuals, including accounts payable and supply chain, regarding orders received to resolve any outstanding issues or discrepancies.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1 year of experience (preferred but not required).
Ability to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to perform all job functions safely.
Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
