Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and improving the injection molding and auxiliary equipmentby troubleshooting in an effectively, maintaining a clean workspace, and making adjustments safely as needed.
Follows all safety requirements, policies, and takes action to correct issues when foundTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all items related to the molding process and supporting equipmentGeneral maintenance duties relating to the manufacturing plantSupport preventative maintenance initiatives and daily repair of auxiliary and molding equipmentAssists with mold changes and insert changes per the production scheduleAbility to assemble/disassemble injection molding machines and supporting equipment as required for repairs and installationWork with team members and supporting departments such as process technicians, tooling, production, and supervisorsMaintain proper records of work performed through maintenance request orders (IQMS)Support production and follow all company policies relating to safety, quality, and ISOJob Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education and work experienceBilingual in Spanish is a plusPrevious experience working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipmentPrevious injection molding experience is highly preferredComputer skills including Microsoft OfficeGood mathematical skills a plusRead, write and communicate in English with the ability to communicate well with all levels within the Company.
