The Operations Manager oversees SE's construction operations from turnover to close-out, ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed to successful completion.
You will manage and drive the project management, engineering, construction, and fabrication units to achieve the Company's revenue, profit, and customer service goals.
You must have the technical expertise to provide operational guidance to the construction team from preconstruction to completion.
Supervise day-to-day operations, including allocating resources and department budget to ensure the profitable success of Architectural Division projects.

Develop and deliver departmental budgets.
Oversees turnover of projects from Preconstruction to Project Management, fabrication, and field.
Ensure management of WIP, cash flow, and forecasting projections.
Oversee contract implementation for both customers and subcontractors.
Negotiate with clients regarding project changes, schedules, and construction logic.
Consistently deliver department reports and issues to the Division and Executive team.
Empower the team and enforce accountability, review personnel, compensation, and employment standards by Company vision, mission, and values.
Actively engage Fabrication Facility, Field, PM, and Engineering managers for operational continuity and determination of Company priorities.
Drive Continuous refinement of workflows, SOPs, onboarding, and training.
Monitor and adjust company resources to align with workload and productivity.
Lead, manage, and develop direct reports and team members Instill company safety culture throughout all areas and levels of the Department.
Requirements of the job:
Minimum of 10 years experience managing commercial building fa ade /curtain wall construction projects in alignment with scopes performed (by SE) with P&L responsibility.
Exceptional knowledge of engineering and implementing curtain wall systems, materials and resource allocation, construction tools, and scheduling techniques.
Experience understanding customer needs and gaining consensus with general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and trade partners.
Knowledge of local, state, domestic, and international construction building codes and health safety requirements.
Experience in Primavera P6, MS Project, or other construction project management and manufacturing software.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite Steel Encounters is based in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah, with offices in Seattle, Washington, and Jacksonville, Arkansas.
