What You'll Do:
Support the fabrication division of Nucor Rebar Fabrication with machine repair, maintenance and trouble shooting.
Assist the safety team in the design, development and/or installation of machine guards and safety devices.
Advise Branch Manager in machine purchasing and installation.
Your
Responsibilities:
o Perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and optimum functioning equipment, systems, and processes.
o Troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment to maintain workplace safety and production efficiency.
o Generate parts lists and labor time estimates for maintenance and repairs.
o Train key shop teammates on new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment.
o Maintain repair records.
o Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.
o Adherence to Harris Rebar and OSHA safety standards.
Your
Qualifications:
o Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
o Minimum two years' experience working on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance and repairso Minimum two years' experience in electrical maintenance and repairso Ability to read and interpret schematic diagramso Must be Familiar with OSHA safety standards Preferred
Qualifications:
o Two-year technical degree from an accredited school or collegeo Training in electrical controls, welding, mobile crane operation and riggingo Experience installing and programming electrical safety devices What You Need to Know:
