Job Description The Production Lead is responsible for the efficient coordination of resources to ensure the daily production schedule is met.
The job function is comprised of four key operational criteria:
Safety, Quality, Delivery and Communication (SWDC).
Working closely with the Plant Management, Director of Quality and Safety Manager the Production Lead will guide day to day departmental operations and implement department specific initiatives resulting in the improvement of SQDC.
The Lead acts as Team Captain, executing hour to hour and day to day supporting tactics to achieve departmental goals.

Actionable knowledge of Food Safety and GMPs Must exhibit the HIGHEST level of SAFETY ensuring that each shift ends with no workplace accidents Must exhibit the HIGHEST regard for Quality so that all candy produced meets or exceeds established standards Understanding of Food Industry related quality assurance including but not limited to:
Metal Detection processes and documentation, Swab testing, Allergens and Contaminants ensuring BRC audit results of AA
Must work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Ability to work well under pressure and within deadlines Effective English language skills, both verbal and written, for documentation, policies, procedures, standards, work- orders and trainings, etc.
Adaptability/flexibility is imperative as well as the ability to act/react in real time Results driven and proactive with a strong desire to own and execute area of responsibility with excellence Analytical/Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Requirements:

Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent relevant experience 1
years food manufacturing experience 1
years machine operator experience Must be or become certified in 1st aid, CPR & AED within the first 6 months OSHA 10 certified within the first 6 months Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related 3
