We are seeking a Professional Engineer (Corporate Discipline Lead - Traffic).
This is a key leadership position within J-U-B's Transportation Services Group (TSG) leading the corporate traffic engineering practice/discipline companywide, across all geography and offices.
This position will report to the Technical Resources Lead within the TSG and manage the day-to-day activities of 3 to 5 full time traffic engineers located in multiple offices.
Technical Roles o Lead the traffic engineering technical practice/discipline companywide and function as a senior traffic engineering technical resource.
o Lead and manage the preparation of studies and designs related to traffic engineering.
o Work with transportation project managers to provide traffic engineering support and independently manage project discipline/task deliverables.
o Oversee the design of traffic signals, lighting, signing, and striping for projects.
o Lead analyses using Big Data.
o Independently conduct and supervise traffic operations analyses for intersections and corridors in support of transportation and planning projects for local, state, and federally funded projects.
o Perform technical Quality Control/Quality Assurance for traffic engineering deliverables.
o Knowledgeable of travel demand modeling methodologies and supervise staff performing travel demand modeling using CUBE, TransCAD and VISUM.
o Supervise and lead signal timing optimizations and develop signal timing plans for roadway networks.
o Lead noise modeling using Traffic Noise Model (TNM) and support J-U-B's Environmental Services Group.
o Supervise and/or prepare Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)/Traffic Control and design MOT plans per state DOT standards.
Perform independent reviews.
o Use methodologies and processes from the City, County, state DOT and US DOT Manuals.
o Represent clients in public meetings or open houses and conduct project meetings.
Leadership Roles o Supervise support staff assigned to projects including junior traffic engineers, drafters, EIT's, and other transportation project engineers.
Mentor and coach junior staff through the process of project work.
o Recommend training for technical staff.
Engagement with technical professional organizations like Institute of Transportation Engineers.
o Engage with the TSG Leadership Team to set goals for market growth, staff growth, and help set direction for the continued growth of the practice.
Help develop market area specific plans.
Business Development Roles o Lead marketing/business development activities for transportation planning and traffic engineering pursuits.
o Support marketing/business development activities for transportation (roadway/design) projects.
o Develop scopes of work, contracts, schedules and budgets for projects.
o Represent clients in public meetings or open houses and conduct project meetings.
o Attend council and commissioner meetings for clients.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
