General Manager
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager located in Salt Lake City, UT.
The General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring effective and efficient use of resources across all company departments.
The General Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and expansion while adhering to company mission and values.
What you will be doing as a General Manager, Cold Storage:
The General Manager has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising warehouse activities on a daily basis.
?The manager is responsible for staffing and scheduling to insure the highest level of customer experience.
Goals are consistent with the organizations POI strategies.
?Ensures safety of employees at all times through facility management of equipment and buildings.
What you need to land this awesome job:
Education:
High School (GED) Associates Degree Preferred
Experience:
At least 5 years warehouse operations management Experience managing staffs of people License or Certification:
Forklift certification required Travel requirements:
Occasionally Minimum Physical requirements:
Ability to endure long periods in 0F degree temperatures in the freezer and on the docks.
Ability to stand up to 6 hours.
Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
A day in the life (but not limited to):
Insures KPIs are met such as pallets per hour, LOS and OS&D goals to name a few.
Manages staff to align with facility objectives Maintains and ensures all training is completed and recorded in order to meet all aspects of BRC requirements and OSHA requirements.
Communicate across BUs to key stakeholders in order to insure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
General Manager will cover for this person if they are out of the office.

This position reports to the VP of Warehousing Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role Strong leadership skills, with experience in driving strategy and managing teams, budgets, and projects Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Experience in budget management and financial forecasting Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software Strong analytical and organizational skills Experience in the service industry is a plus Recommended Skills Analytical Business Administration Communication Coordinating Customer Experience Customer Satisfaction Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
