See details below! The Head of Product is the company leader and expert in all technical aspects, strategy, customer needs, competitive landscape, technology, commercial, staffing, relationships, and requirements associated with their respective product.
Oversees all product management and development in their respective area.
Makes sure that their products match and exceed the client's and company's goals.
Reports to the Chief Innovation Officer.
Responsibilities:
Technical:
Has the technical aptitude to understand their product and the technology behind it to help with product strategy, planning, development, and adoption.
Leadership:
Leads and motivates entire product team to deliver world class, profitable products.
Keeps a cool head at all times especially during challenging times.
Is the leader of the product.
Product Strategy:
Owns and plans product strategy and roadmap for their respective space.
Knows the competitive landscape well and can differentiate by feature between them and us.
Commercial:
Knows the end client and market well.
Creates and presents visionary innovations.
Develops strategic decision proposals, as well as the calculation of business cases.
Supports commercial with key customers.
Partnership:
Responsible for strategic partnerships and leads necessary contract negotiations.
Goals:
Monitors, tracks, and drives and organized process around product development and creates and drives relevant KPIs to achieve company objectives set.
Financial:
Tracks, drives and is responsible for cost, revenue and profit for their entire product portfolio.
Management:
Manages product management and product support staff.
Identifies and promotes high potential and talent.
Marketing:
Promotes and drives both internal and external marketing to support rapid product deployment and growth.
Qualifications:
Have previously developed a product, shown success in the market Have excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-departmentally Must have experience with Aha software; Jira is a plus Open to relocation to Salt Lake City area, if not already local Understand the technology, especially new tech that is leading the market Have ability to understand the market, which leads to future needs, ideas, etc Prior experience managing a team/leading people is highly preferred Tools oOperates and tracks development in Aha.
