Inventory Control Analyst

DescriptionJob Summary Provides information systems planning and support of UTA's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, JD Edwards, for the Supply Chain department.
Performs project management activities associated with design and implementation of the ERP system and associated technologies.
Serves as JDE inventory system and inventory policy expert for inventory management system.
Develops and maintains Item Master Control database for inventory parts.
Partners with I.
T.
to support development, implementation, maintenance, and integrity of data and processes within the ERP and other systems.
Manages the ERP system in support of department objectives and other information needs such as maintaining systems software and data flows, recommending and auditing application security, authorizing access and access flows, and writing standard/custom reports.
Assists I.

in data quality reviews and provides recommendations as needed.
Maintains confidential information in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
May assist I.
T.
in designing/testing interfaces between systems as needed.
Seeks continuous improvement and develops strategies to maximize efficiencies and minimize cost of related processes across all of UTA through technology applications and initiatives.
Provides training to users on understanding functions and use of the ERP system and related applications.
Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION/TRAINING Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business or related field.
Emphasis on Supply Chain, Supply Chain Information Systems, or Inventory Systems Management or equivalent is preferred.
Experience with current technologies in the area of Supply Chain, data management or ERP systems administration preferred.
Experience:
Five years in ERP application support, Inventory System Management, technical operations, technical product support and/or operations.
Experience with JD Edwards preferred.
Experience in supply chain information systems and system administration is essential; specific ERP experience preferred.
Experience conducting workflow analysis, designing business systems, evaluating system changes and vendor management/package selection.
Experience in project management.
Strong communication skills as well as demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and technical skills.
Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint at the intermediate or higher level.
Familiar with current report writing tools and business intelligence software and methodologies.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
