Responsibilities:
o Experience with creating S1000D data modules and managing S1000D projectso Proficient in Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and Extensible Markup Language (XML)o Experience authoring Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals, Technical Orders (TOs), Technical Manuals (TMs), User's Manuals, and other related technical documentso Knowledge of and experience writing to military standard requirements (MIL-STD-38784, MIL-STD-40051, MIL-DTL-38807, etc.
)o Excellent written and verbal communication skillso Strong editing and proofing skillso Capability to research and analyze detailed technical processes and extract technical informationo Ability to coordinate with engineers, customer representatives, subject matter experts, vendors, customers and technical personnel as well as internal illustration teamo Experience in project and time management and experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)o Adaptable to changing priorities and workloadso Ability to format documents to meet contract requirements
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experienceGraduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experienceIn lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience Preferred Qualificatonso Experience in S1000D, SGML, and XML content for DoD operation and maintenance manualso Understanding of IETM and Common Source Database (CSDB) development standards, best practices, and protocolsCSDB management a pluso Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)o Advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobato Experience creating and integrating style sheets, programming scripts, XML and SGML programmingFOSI programming a pluso Security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) or ability to obtain security clearance Additional Information:
