Storekeeper Job Summary Receives inspects warehouses and issues equipment materials and supplies to various University departments.
Assists with outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities Enter purchase orders and inventory utilizing the software currently being used.
Review and reconcile procurement purchases gather all documents for accuracy and appropriate approvals and uphold all accountability best practices.
Expedites shipping and deliveries maintains inventory monitors usage inconsistencies price changes and back orders.
Minimum Qualifications Four years shipping and receivingstockroom experience or equivalency years related work experience may be substituted for year of education with preferably at least two years supervisory experience the ability to routinely move or manipulate heavy objects a knowledge of standard warehousing procedures demonstrated human relations skills and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required.
A valid Utah Drivers license with proof of insurability may be required for positions that require delivery responsibilities.
Preferences Processes of equipment and supplies needed for daily operations of the department.
Resolve problems regarding orders ensure orders are correctly filled warranty repairs are made and examines merchandise received for quality.
Maintains and updates products catalogs vendors files and price lists.
