CS20231108-104689 L3Harris' Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician C to join our team.
This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, UT facility.
Overview:
Manufactures and tests electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, including circuit cards, cable/harnesses, and various other electronic products while ensuring compliance with required performance specifications.

Responsibilities:
Sets up a variety of manufacturing apparatus, and completes assembly following methods, procedures, standards, and operations sequences Ability to work from both oral and written instructions, engineering drawings, and blueprints Documents assembly data and results, provides documentation of failed products Works to achieve operational targets within the functional area Able to work in both team and individual contributor roles, with minimal supervision Resource to other employees for various operations within manufacturing assembly and test processes, having multiple area of manufacturing expertise Individual must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time Participate in continuous improvement projects targeting waste affecting product quality, cost, and schedule or other items of value to the business.
Maintain professional standards of performance, demeanor, and judgment at all times as detailed in company policy and procedure First shift work schedule Support OT (nights, weekends, extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements and business needs Other responsibilities as assigned by Management
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience, or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Knowledgeable with Microsoft suite and personal computing devices.
Proficient in multiple electronics manufacturing processes, including soldering, using hand tools for cutting, stripping, crimping, and wiring electromechanical products, torque tools, and ESD practices.
Knowledge performing functional testing of electromechanical assemblies.
