The Associate Investment Analyst helps Juvo Ventures achieve its strategic objectives by supporting the Senior Investment Team analysis of future investment areas and companies that provide the greatest opportunity and strategic fit within the early-stage technology-enabled ecosystem.
This person will work with the Managing Partners to source, analyze, and execute investments.
The Investment Analyst is a team player, collaborates and works alongside others to achieve the broader company goals and objectives.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Provides assistance and support to the Managing Partners with duties such as:
Compiles, analyzes, and synthesizes financial and business information/data into clear, concise business cases and presentation materials.
Analyzes financial and operating performance information, market positioning, conducts due diligence investigations of prospective targets, and models expected return profile of opportunity.
Research industry and niches to identify growth rate, size, trends, and themes while incorporating best practices that are identified.
Prepares marketing materials, including private placement memoranda, term sheets, and investor presentation materials.
Assists in maintaining a database of investor commentary, feedback and interest in a particular target; tracks market data to assist the group's communications with fund managers and limited partners.
Helps to put process and operation structures in place to grow and scale Juvo from a startup to a franchise operation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
MBA or Master's degree in Finance or Economics Proven interest and experience in venture capital and technology ideally in a technology-enabled education space Up to 10% travel.
Preferred
Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of relevant experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity.
Experience operating in a fast-growing digital learning company.
