Salt lake city UTThe GIS Analyst II uses GIS applications to manage asset and reference data, create maps and generate analysis to support user requests.
Follows standard processes to create, modify and transform data.
Plans and organizes work, and coordinates with others to supportbusiness customer needs.
Raises awareness of GIS technology and data solutions through interactions with internal customers.
As GIS Analyst II, you will use GIS applications to manage asset and reference data, create maps and generate analysis to support userrequests.
You will also raise awareness of GIS technology and data solutions through interactions with stakeholders.
The ability to build andmaintain relationships with others, identify and communicate technology gaps and assess data to effectively problem solve are keys tosuccess.

o Creates, updates and deletes features and attributes in the enterprise geodatabaseo Performs tasks using Williams standard set of GIS applicationso Creates and manages spatial datao Researches, retrieves and reviews documentation for data management or analysiso Other duties as assignedEducation/Years of
Experience:
Required:
High School Diploma/GED; completion of some college or Associate's degree in GIS, Cartography, MIS or Computer Science and a minimum of two (2) years' GIS experiencePreferred:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Cartography, MIS or Computer Science, a minimum of four (4) years' GIS experience anda minimum of two (2) years' energy industry experienceOther Requirements:
o Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityo Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skillso Demonstrates ability to learn new software skillso Experience with ArcGIS applications and tools, especially ArcGIS Proo Preferred:
Knowledge of publicly available GIS datasetso Preferred:
Experience handling confidential informationo Preferred:
Experience with FERC or PHMSA regulationso Preferred:
Experience interpreting land or commercial agreementso Preferred:
Experience working in standard industry data modelso Preferred:
Experience with Esri's Utility NetworkoADDITIONAL DESCRIPTIONKnowledge of mapping/business intelligence applications, including ESRI's ArcGIS and its extensions (Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, Model Builder, Workflow Manager), and intermediate knowledge of Vector Datasets, projections, coordinating systems and datums.
