We are currently looking for a Field Property Claims Adjuster in the Western US Region to join our claims adjusting team.
The Property Claims Adjuster will work with customers, evaluating damages to contents, and/or structure and loss of rents, and documenting claim activity in the company's claims database.
Claims are processed consistent with corporate policies and procedures and in accordance with any statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
Claims handled in this program range from small to very large commercial property losses.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Adjusting residential and industrial commercial property claims Coverage analysis Preparing written reports and correspondence Use of Xactimate and Sketch to estimate losses up to $500k Telephone, e-mail, and mail communications with customers Approximately 35% travel to inspect claims and attend meetings Documenting claim activity in the company's claim database Secure training and licensing for essential duties
Qualifications:
Must have5 years of field property claim handling experience adjusting losses up to $1M Resident or Non-Resident Adjuster License in California or Texas Must have excellent Xactimate estimating skills including Sketch, and the ability to prepare a $500k estimate on-site Knowledgeable working as a Third Party Administrator (TPA) and with Reinsurance programs Strong knowledge of all matters relating to property claims practices, policies, and procedures Good driving record and valid Automobile Insurance Must be analytical and good with numbers Strong typing, computer, and internet skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Assertive, with strong organization, time management, and Outlook email management skills Ability to travel and work independently Salary:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
