Analyst - Accounts Payable Specialist

Make an ImpactAs the Accounts Payable Specialist completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will work with various individuals and managers to ensure payables are processed accurately and vendors are paid timely.
Review invoices to ensure that the proper vertical, date, invoice #, dollar amount and general ledger accounts are being booked.
Collect approvals from department heads for each invoice.
Process invoices in Yardi system on a timely basis in order to provide payments within vendor terms and accurate vertical/Fund reporting.
Maintain and periodically review accounts payable vendor files to ensure that all necessary vendor information is accurate.
Communicate with vendors regarding discrepancies with invoices.
Follow Bridge policies and procedures and comply with state and federal laws.

Highly organized with the ability to solve problems, organize systems, and establish procedures Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with the team.
Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro and Microsoft Excel Detail oriented with excellent office skills including typing, note taking and proofreading Excellent organizational, communication (written/oral), and interpersonal skills Associate degree or equivalent experience.
