Summary:
Provides day-to-day leadership and management for all employees in the shipping area.
Establish means and methods to insure all employees perform job functions correctly and safely.
Ensure deadlines are met, adhere to company policies and procedures, and be responsible for employee performance and retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide the day-to-day leadership and management for all employees in the department.
Assign, direct, and monitor work performed by employees.
Responsible for meeting established production targets, and quality standards.
Responsible for following set loading procedures and accuracy of loads.
Must maintain department organization for efficient product flow - inbound and outbound.
Complete all forms and/or reports accurately and timely.
Must be able to work swing shifts, varying hours and overtime as required.
Must possess strong communication skills and be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Responsible for cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the work area.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
H.
S.
or equivalent education with 3 or more years shipping and or material handling and inventory experience, or combination of education and experience.
Food industry experience is preferred, prior supervisory experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence.
Must be able to effectively present information before groups, within the organization.
Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
Ability to perform necessary calculations for completion of row counts for shipping and daily time sheets OTHER SKILLS:
Must be computer literate with intermediate skills in Excel.
Must have advanced skills with forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be able to make decisions on routine matters utilizing company policies and procedures and directions from upper management.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must have adequate eyesight and hearing to be able to recognize hazards to equipment and personnel.
Must be able to turn in all directions in order to observe objects and employees nearby.
Full range of motion in extremities to allow proper movement and handling of product.
Must be able to walk or stand for at least 90% of assigned shift.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually at a level where OSHA required hearing protection is required.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:
The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management.
Must be available to work as scheduled.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
