This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, Utah facility.
Position Overview:
This person will contribute to the company's success by interfacing with multiple departments and organizations and is primarily responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed on schedule through commodities areas.
The work will include communicating, coordinating, and negotiating workflow through multiple work centers via various functional organizations to secure needed resources while ensuring changing customer demands, and schedule deadlines are achieved.
Essential
Responsibilities:
oExpedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedulesoMonitor order status, including material status, managing work in progress (WIP) areas, location accuracy, inventory discrepancies, manufacturing and program support, and communication supportoAnalyze material configuration and job order status using SAP (ERP/MRP system)oEnsure availability of materials to meet production requirements and delivery commitmentsoIdentify and create goals that lead to the successful completion of project deliverables within the allotted timeoPerform detailed schedule, risk, and continuous improvement-based analysis to identify, develop, and drive solutionsoRegularly lifting, twisting, bending, and rotating with up to 32 poundsoWorking overtime, nontraditional days or hours, and weekends/holidays when neededBasic
Qualifications:
oRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
oExperience in Military, Manufacturing, Construction, Healthcare, Production, Assembly, Warehouse, etc.
oExperience with face-to-face customer service, communications, and problem-solving skillsoExperience with, or exposure to, Project Management related workoExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint)oInterpret basic engineering instructions and drawings Recommended Skills Assembly And Installation Business Process Improvement Commodity Market Construction Coordinating Customer Service Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
