Paralegal Assistant Commercial Litigation
Snell & Wilmer is currently seeking a full-time Paralegal Assistant to support Paralegals and Attorneys within the Commercial Litigation practice group in our Salt Lake City office.
The hours for this position are from Monday through Friday, 8:
30 a.
m.
to 5:
00 p.
m.
in the office.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Organize and maintain files Assist in discovery and trial preparation and all phases of case management Develop and maintain working relationships with attorneys, paralegals, and staff members Quality checks of legal documents Assisting Paralegals and Attorneys with complex commercial litigation cases involving contract disputes, real estate, construction, franchising, banking and consumer lending matters Assist with litigation process, local and state rules of civil procedure and e-discovery, including extensive document collection, review and production Experience and
Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree and certificate from well-accredited paralegal training program preferred; significant legal support experience may substitute for the degree and certificate.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work-product to both attorneys and clients.
Self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision and to seek help when needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
