Job DescriptionThis position helps make gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church.
Monitor and improve printing quality processes for all production aspects of the Printing Division.
Responsible for administering quality assurance programs, audits and product testing.
The results of these activities will be effectively summarized in regular reports.
Establish standards and inspection methods of printing processes.
Sample products and document sampling methods.
Develop statistical analysis of the samples.
Identify shortfalls in processes, inefficiencies and waste in the printed material.
Assist in the resolution of product that does not meet the division's production standards.
Assist to improve efficient printing procedures through research, process improvement, quality audits and random sampling of products.
Teach others quality tool:
Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, theory of constraints, 5S, etc.
Effectively communicate with senior management, group managers, supervisors, and production employees problems that have been discovered in the products, materials, and processes, through written and verbal means.
Supervise the members of the quality team by making assignments, performance reviews and regular discussions with employees, disciplinary and recruiting, etc.
