Our Salt Lake City branch is looking for a new Program Director to join our Contract Logistics team.
You will have the opportunity to work remotely as long as you are willing to travel domestically to the sites throughout the year.
YOUR ROLEYou will report to the Area Contract Logistics Manager.
You will develop, incorporate, and sustain standardization of procedure within all of our client's US-CL sites.
Foster continuous improvement efforts that identify, develop, and complete cost improvement efficiencies to support clients budgetary management goals.
Manage positive relationship development between Kuehne+Nagel, your client site managers and your client main customer contacts.
#LI-RemoteYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You will manage oversight and validity of important administrative operational documents Agreement, Warehouse Services Agreement, Loss & Damage Report, FDA mandated Consent Decree reporting and compliance.
Oversight, management coordination, and action resolutions to support annual site Gap Assessments.
You will manage safety projects including best practices to support No Harm target.
You will manage all department finances, including achieving monthly targets and provide budget files internally.
You will ensure quality and compliance is at the highest level possible through strict process adherence and system functionalities.
Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) meet or exceed the operational requirements and minimize any process exposure.
Provide consistency across all sites in operations including best practices, visual management, and reporting.
Ensure all service Key Process Indicators (KPI) are meeting or exceeding client directed guidelines.
If not understand the cause and implement corrective action.
Develop, together with site managers, content for Monthly Business and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR).
Support best practice across all operations.
Provide network reporting for internal and external requirements.
Coach, guide and evaluate General Managers and Operations Managers across your department.
Negotiate and support with any new business and Statements of Work (SOW).
Absorb and evaluate customer corporate requests to allow General Managers to run operation.
Drive continuous improvement within operations.
Ensure teams have a pipeline of active and future projects.
Review and provide guidance on any commercial or legal requirements.
Build relationship between customer and Kuehne
Nagel to retain customers business and future growth opportunities.
