Process Engineer II JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
This is an engineering position responsible for process definition, standardization and compliance for fabrication operations.
The position will work as a division engineer ensuring process control, manage and drive improvements and changes focused on optimizing quality and costs.
JOB DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
oManage and create standard work for fabrication departments.
oMonitor process and operators for adherence to standard.
oAnalyze, monitor and improve performance of operations related metrics (e.
g.
Efficiency, Escape Quality, Rework,Work in Process, Scrap, etc.
).
oStandardize processes across division plants.
oDrive continuous improvement activities within operations processes.
oReport and perform root cause analysis on top issues.
oWork with MFG Division on specifications and standardization.
oDrive operational excellence and best practices across the network reducing costs, improving quality, and increasing efficiency.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Position requires regular and predictable attendance.
Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.
QUALIFICATION, SKILL and ATTRIBUTE REQUIRMENTS:
oDemonstrated ability to create and maintain strong business relationshipsoAbility to enforce process disciplineoStrong analytical skillsoProven ability to adapt and manage effectively in a changing environmentoStrong understanding of and commitment to manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement practicesoExperience in continuous improvement tools such as Kaizen, 5S, one-piece-flow, etc.
oDemonstrated ability to understand issues, get to root cause and plan corrective actions.
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING and
Experience:
oBachelor's Degree in Engineering or work experience equivalent.
o5-10 years of Engineering, Quality, and/or Operations management.
oContinuous Improvement and Six Sigma training/certification a plusWorking Conditions:
The position requires approximately 15% travel with visits to other US sites.

Annual base salary range:
$73,000-$82,000 Bonus target range:
